Vance's Journal

Hello, I’m Vance, glad you stopped by!  This is the place where you can find my musings.  Nothing earth shattering to be sure.  Just one man’s thoughts and observations from his own point of view.  I spend the majority of my time everyday making my note cards, checking the card stands in the local stores, and living what I believe most would consider a fairly ordinary life in an unbelievably extraordinary location.   I may have met a few of you in Albertson’s once or twice…thanks for approaching me to ask about my cards.  Anyone who tells you that compliments don’t count in life isn’t being totally honest.   

I haven’t written for a public audience since the publication of "Teton Sketches of Summer".  I always wanted to, but life got in my way.  Now I feel the time is right.  With age comes wisdom, or so I have been told.  I’m ready to share mine with those who want to listen.  Lucky for you, you can ignore this page if you like…I’ll never know.  If you’ve gotten this far, let me thank you for at least finding this page…that’s a good sign the site was well planned by my niece, Joni.  What would we ever do without the computer wizardry of the younger generation? 

I’ll post my musings here from time to time, mostly about my experiences with other species than humans!
