The Book "Teton Sketches of Summer"

Teton Sketches of Summer contains a series of essays depicting a summer season in Grand Teton National Park.  The essays were originally written in 1968 and were published in book form the summer of 1969.   At that time, only hardbound editions were available.

The cover reproduction of an oil painting, as well as the illustrations accompanying the essays is the work of Joanne Hennes, a well-known and respected artist who also resides in Jackson Hole.   

The latest edition to appear came out in 1990.  The newer edition was published in both a hardbound and soft cover edition.

The later edition is an 8 ½  X  11 inch version as was the original edition. 

I wrote the essays when I was a very young man whose dream of sharing his love for Jackson Hole was only beginning to blossom.
